Meet the Founder – Skyler Lightfoot

Hi, I’m Skyler, the founder of StrideRight Equine Products and a lifelong horsewoman from McGregor, TX. I’ve been competing in rodeos since I was 5 years old, specializing in Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Team Roping. When I’m not in the arena, I’m training young horses with the dream of becoming a successful futurity trainer.

For years, I made my own natural horse care products, from detanglers to fly sprays, and was constantly receiving compliments—especially on my mare Bunny’s mane! After seeing how well my homemade formulas worked and how much others loved them, I decided it was time to fine-tune my products and share them with fellow horse owners.

At StrideRight, I believe in using natural, high-quality ingredients to keep our horses looking and feeling their best—because if I wouldn’t use it on myself, why would I use it on my horses? My goal is to create products that nurture, protect, and enhance without the unnecessary chemicals.
